(It was hard to decide whether to stick this here in Video Games or over at the Specialist Games subforum, but today's current issue appears to be specific to electronic)

So, I've been playing a fair bit of BB2 recently, but this morning when I tried to start playing, I was never taken to the main menu. Instead, I was stuck on the "press enter to start" screen and after thinking for a minute or two it returned an "Internal server error" message. This started for me about 6 or 7 hours ago and is persisting. Would anybody be so kind, should you own the game, as to try logging in and see whether error is repeatable? I truly hope it is server-side and that other people are having the same problem, as it may mean the game is being updated, as well as the fact that it's not specific to my computer...

Other than this one specific issue, I think it'd be nice to have a thread going for general BB2 discussion for strategy, cool stories, news, etc., so I'm making this thread in an effort to kill two players with one Throw a Rock.

Uninstall, clear cache re-download

Or you can try and "repair software.

Oh, good gravy. I am not tech savvy, but I can tell something has gone horribly, horribly wrong when attempting to reinstall.



If I could get a bit of assistance, I'd hugely appreciate it. I wasn't going into my files and screwing with anything, so I do not understand why this would occur.

Edit: Game finally installed itself properly after a restart and can be run, but I appear to be back to square 1 with the original error.
