It's supposed to be a TAC list. So the games are kill points with each army having 10 points to distribute, plus five objectives, each being worth a point. The meta is pretty competitive, with the three most threatening armies being a Tau Battlesuit-based army, a force of Guard tanks and a force of Orks spamming artillery and tankbustas.

I'm a bit concerned with the lack of wounds and firepower; I tried to balance thunderstar with some heavier shooty but I'm not sure I got it right.

If it's possible I'd be grabbing the Priests from the Wyrdstorm Brotherhood formation.
What powers are you planning on using?

I don't break the rules but I'll bend them as far as they'll go.

Yea, same idea of using the psykers in their special formation, and furthermore, try squeeze some points to give them bikes as well so they can keep up with the TWC.

I recommend Biomancy as alternative of the Tempestus power. Giving the TWC 4+ FnP? That is too OP

Venerable Dreadnought maybe best used in a Droppod, with Multi melta or Assault Cannon / Helfrost Cannon and Powerfist w Heavy Flamer, that would make good of both its BS5 and WS5. Or if you want a Backfield Dreadnought as fire platform, I don't think you need Venerable upgrade, a normal Dread is fine enough, especially you are using TL Autocannon.

Only just noticed the Dread's loadout is impossible, both the auto canon and missile launcher are replacements for the powerfist arm. It's annoying but Space Wolf Dreads are like that, you'd think a Space Wolf walker would hang onto its melee arm as long as possible.

Venerable is great if you're expecting to re-roll a lot of penetrating hits, personally I prefer a Lucius Pod and a Flamer/Powerfist/Melta basic Dread for coverage.

I don't break the rules but I'll bend them as far as they'll go.
