So I play Khorne Daemonkin, and I got a Lord of Skulls because I got tired of being the only one at my store to not have any LoWs, even though they're 800 points. Most of the games I play are at 2000, rarely do they go higher than that, and at that point value LoS has been proven to not be worth taking, as it normally just dies turn 1 or 2 without really doing much of anything and I'm left with 1200 points vs 2000. I still really want a super heavy, so I was thinking of getting a Renegade Knight as it frees up a lot more room and wanted to know everyone else's thoughts on them? IE are they worth taking, what kind of equipment to throw on them, etc.

The double gatling gun variant is good. You could also go the FW Chaos Knight route and get a it marked Khorn and it would generate blood tithe (but is only the original paladin or errant variant)

You get to specialize each arm, which imperials can't do, so take advantage and build it to spec for what your army needs. If you post the rest of the list we can make suggestions.

I really dig the greater brass scorpion, and if you sell that LoS online you can pick it up on the cheap. The FW spined beast is a phenomenal meat shield, bullet sponge and melee thing that's pretty cheap, if yall allow FW.

Baneblades are available to R&H, Daemons get the most insane LOW in the game thier just 600-900 pts apiece, but ultimately I think allied Lord of Changes and Bloodthirsters fill the same role for cheaper and generally more effective.

The FW stuff looks really cool, but I've had trouble finding the rules for them, and I've never gotten FW stuff before. I know the Chaos Knight and the Kytan are downloadable for free, but Idk where to look for like the Brass Scorpion or Anggrath and the bunch. Also, no one else at my stuff plays FW stuff, and I don't really wanna be the only one bringing it.

And like I said Idk what weapons to give the Knight, so for this list I just gave him the most expensive upgrades to see how many points I'd have for the rest of the list
The reason I'm thinking of going Knight is cause it's a lot more reasonable in 2k games
