Yaho,

Came up when I had to get some guardsman body blocking Bobby G from getting in CC with a knight ( his 3rd that game) by surrounding him and forcing him to double back, but didn't get enough distance to quite manage it:

Does the restriction on movement obliging you to be 1" away from an enemy outside of tankshocks apply during the whole of your movement or just at the end?

Some people find the idea that other people can be happy offensive, and will prefer causing harm to self improvement.

"A model cannot move" not "A model cannot END its move"

Stay away the whole time, unless you're charging.

That was my argument. The counterargument was basically there isn't any intervening stage that represents the movement itself, and he's right in that units do basically teleport from point A to point B, which is set by bending the tape round any intervening obstacles and reducing by any terrain penalties which only the intervening model itself qualifies, not its threat area.

No, he's not right that they 'teleport'. There has to be a clear path for the movement and the 1" requirement is for the entirety of the move.

second this. That movement rule is important, as it allows you to shape the battle field. It can not be ignored.
