Alot depends on how you focus the list to be fair.
As you know characters buff certain factions so it's always good to focus an army based around synergy.
Personally speaking, if you plan on mixing elves make sure you have a solid core first then work on adding combinations that work together.
I've found glade guard to be impressive to say the least.
The 2 turn of -3 rend shooting is insane so make sure your buffing them so they hit and wound without an issue.
If I'm reading right you have 3 units of 10 there with 2 spares.
I'd keep them seperate.
Loads of artillery and spells focus on large units, so 3 smaller ones gives you some safety.
It also prevents overkilling targets.
Hail of doom arrows are also pretty damn good at thinning units out.
If you can get sisters of the watch they are also pretty damn solid with shooting.
Since your mixing elves, Phoenix guard make solid anvils.
4+ save and a 4+ after save.
Throw in mystic shield and terrain and you have a 2+ 4++ unit to soak charges and pin units.
Once pinned in place you can obliterate them with shooting.
Swordmasters are a fairly solid combat unit but tend to be a bit frail.
You really don't want to be taking a charge with them though as they will crumble.
