Hey all,

Started my own custom chapter of marines, who I just mess around with playing them as different chapters. In wanting to use Guilliman occasionally I painted mine to match my chapter when I run ultramarines chapter tactics

I'm no pro painter but I hope you like my take on him!

Still don't like the mini, but the paintjob does it a lot of help. The ghost-flame sword is particularly good.

But you have done a very good job regardless of the problems with the model itself.

Honestly the simplest method, white base coat, drakenhof nightshade ink wash but kinda moving the model around so it settles unevenly, then just thin white layers on the edges from the top of the sword and tips of the flames downwards

Haha Thanks! I agree the face is horrible, and I can't paint them well on top of that :p

Great job but I would like to see some highlighting on the black. Eshin grey perhaps? Maybe its there and the pics don't show it? The black is flat is my only complaint. Otherwise awesome!

The colour scheme really works well on this model. In fact it's so good it has led me to reconsider painting mine in the classic scheme

Just excellent! Love the color scheme but just a question... Is that plain black or does it come mixed with osme green or blue? Maybe it is the bouncing light of the pic but I love it anyway!
