It's all a bit serially serial down here of late, so here's a Human Interest story

TLR? Old Piano donated to a Musical College. Upon cleaning and restoration, bags of old Gold Coins are found.

That's now been declared Treasure Trove - so will be sold to a Museum - the College and Restorer both get 'a reward' (which can be quite substantial, though no figure is given).

And the most heart warming bit? The family that donated the Piano after owning it for 33 years aren't being Richards about it, and are quite happy for the College to benefit financially. How rare is that??

Aw that's the nice bit of news to shine up my day!

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

Maybe they are alums who are thinking, "ya know, if we just let them keep the money too, we'll finally stop seeing mailers begging for our donation. . " "ehh, worth a shot, right?"
