I am new to AoS (looking at going with Stormcast Eternals as my first army) and, reading the General's Handbook, I understand the three "Rules of One," in particular the rule that says you cannot use any Spell more than once per turn, at least in Matched Play.

So, my question is, what about "non-Spell" special abilities... can they be used more than once and so "stack" on top of each other?

For example, if you have two Lord-Castellants, can they both use their Warding Lanterns on the same unit and improve its Armor Save by +2 (i.e. a unit of Liberators would have a 2+ save, for instance)?

Similarly, if you take the "Consummate Commander" Command Trait for Stormcast Eternals (which allows both your General and one other model to use their Command Traits in the same turn, as long as the General is still alive) on a Lord-Celestant and then bring a second Lord-Celestant, when you activate both of their "Furious Retribution" Command Abilities, does that mean that any friendly Stormcast Eternal units within 9" of both of them get +2 to their To Hit rolls (i.e. the two bubbles of "Furious Retribution" stack on top of one another)?

Thanks for any help/clarification on these questions.

It would depend on the wording, and would therefore be on a case-by-case basis.

I only have the old Stormcast rules on hand right now, so things may have changed. For your Lord-Castellants, they would be able to stack their save modifiers. Likewise for stacking multiple Furious Retribution activations.

Yes in both cases.

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.
