I'm considering buying a vulture. I've got a few rules queries though

1) Is imperial armour one second edition the most up to date rules-set?
2)If so, given that the vendetta is costed at the old 130 points and the vulture at 105, is it undepriced / would it be good to artificially increase the price to say 135 points to make it more fair?

The rules are the same in IA1:2nd & Aeronautica, but the entry in IA1:2nd is part of the Armoured Battlegroup Army list.

The D-99 Vulture in IA4:2nd (Anphelion Project) is 125 points - the same as the Valkyrie (but that's as part of the D-99 Army list).

Ah but that's to compensate for the increased ballistic skill for the entry in the D-99 list right?

Aeronautica's version allows you to field as many as you want as a single model fast attack choice for IG. The ABG limits you to 1 squadron max, and you have to be using the ABG list.

But keep in mind GW has come out and said forgeworld models are about to be updated with (or more likely, after) 8th hits. There's a tiny chance the rules will become free.
