Very impressive, but two thoughts on that
1) Does this effectively mean bowling is a "solved" game? We have reached the point where no one can win, as he (and presumably others) can get strikes almost 100% consistently? Genuine question.
2) With a little bit of planning (a few people to hand him balls, and not running back to the far end lane) he could cut the time significantly. I would bet he could get sub 60 seconds.

Neat.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Not really. A "solved" game is one where the optimal strategy is known and there's no reason to play, any (non-trivial) game of physical skill will never be "solved" because there's still the significant challenge of executing the moves even if you know where to aim the ball or whatever. And note that this guy had to make multiple attempts at it before he got it right. It's much easier to be perfect when you only show your successes.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

Not solved than this took 3-4 attempts that night, and probbly months of practice to get to that level to pull this off.

1. As a bowler I can definitively tell you no. There is a TON of skill and practice to get your body to consistently throw strikes. That guy clearly has it and showed a lot of skill. Even the best professional bowlers dont bowl 300 games all the time and Im talking the best in the world here.

2. I agree! I wouldnt of ran down to the other end of the alley thays for sure. He could of cut a decent 5 seconds off just by going down only 3 lanes instead.

I think the fact that he had to "run" down the length of the alley, bowling along the way and then come all the way back down across the alley to finish, only adds to the achievement!
