Hi all,

With 40k in limbo atm I thought would go back to my roots (ie. fantasy) and redo some of my old armies up. Last time I played fantasy was late 90's/early 00's, so was looking through my old models and see what I want to convert to AoS (eg put on round bases etc. I have a massive undead/vampire counts army, alot of dwarves and a pretty big beastmen/mostly Minotaur's, some Dark elves). Honestly don't want to change any... However, I have recently done up about 30 Witch Aelves as deathcult assassins for 40k and I love the models (so more must be bought )...it begins

First: I am more into the models than the games, so looks and theme will always win over "hard hitting". I also enjoy the strategic element, but I prefer to win from a mediocre army that is themed and looks good, over a win at all costs, maybe smells of cheese army (More about the models and play than the winning for me).

This list is mainly about the Witch Aelves (cause I love the models, though to me they seem weak from the context of this game). It seems from my glance Sisters of Slaughter would be a lot better but I don't like the look of them (I could keep the witch aelve heads and keep the whips however... idk).

2000pts Dark Elves
Bloodwrack Sisterhood
Bloodwrack Sisterhood (40)
Cauldron of Blood (220)
Death Hag (60)
Bloodwrack Shrine (140)
5x Doomfire Warlocks (200)
5x Doomfire Warlocks (200)
20x Witch Aelves (280)
20x Witch Aelves (280)
10x Witch Aelves (140)
Total-----------------------------------------1560
Cauldron of Blood (220)
Death Hag (60)
1x Assassin (80)
1x Assassin (80)
Total----------------------------------------440
Leaders: 6 Behemoths: 3 Battle line: 3

Few rules questions:
1. Does this army mean my Witch Aelves are battle line (I think it does but was unsure?)
2. The other army list I am working on consists of 2x Scrolls of Exiled Blood Cult with Hellebron etc (I have 30x 4th edition Blackguard (I would use as executioners, cause I love the models). However, would the witch Aelves still be battle line (Is exiled scroll)?
3. I went the Bloodwrack Shrine cause 20 more points seems alot better?
4. Now does the hag on the Cauldron of blood count towards the hag needed for the bloodwrack sisterhood? (If not I added another just incase).
5. Can I take the extra Cauldron, hag and assassins (they dont need to be part of a scroll or anything) I gather?

Cheers for all tips and advice, new AoS player here.
