The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Sounds about right.
And the mentor who definitely "died" in the first one, somehow didnt (much to the surprise of even the other characters?)
I think the explanation for this one will be quite interesting indeed. The rest of the trailer looks pretty good. I enjoyed the first one, and this one seems to be carrying on in the same lines, should be pretty fun
Looks promising. Honestly, I can't really see how this can go wrong, all it needs to do to be completely satisfying is do everything the first one did but bigger, louder and in greater quantities. The Secret Service is probably as close to a perfect action comedy as you can get (the other contender being Hot Fuzz).

I think the Statesmen will be an American version fighting a common enemy. I mean they are using Winchesters and such.

The church scene will need to be 1 up'd in this sequel. Partly because its a sequel and partly because that scene is what drew a lot of people to actually see the movie or at least it did with me because I thought it was a 'kids' movie and didn't bother with the theater.
Good action comedy is rare. The first Kingsman hit the mark perfectly. This looks to continue in the same vein. Personally I can wait. Getting this and guardians in the same year is so good.

They Shall Know Fear - Adepticon 40k TT Champion (2012 & 2013) & 40k TT Best Sport (2014), 40k TT Best Tactician (2015 & 2016)
I see wn action comedy is a blend of both. And while it is an action movie with solid fun/comedy calling it a comedy action would leave peoe scratching their heads

My speculation: Clearly, Harry Hart (Colin Firth) when shot by the inimitable SLJ, the bullet went clean through his eye and out without doing irreparable harm. He spent the next 2 years in a coma and is just now remembering who he is.
Long live the Kingsmen!!!

When I was in little league, my team went to the batting cage and with those ridiculous bouncy baseballs, I tipped the top of the pitch, it went down and bounced right up into my glasses. It knocked the lens out and pushed it so hard into my face, I was cut all around my eye.
Let's just say the bullet did the same thing to Harry, so his eye is damaged. And, it did not stop him from coming back.
Incidentally, the injury at the batting cage did not stop me from coming to the afternoon game as catcher for all 7 innings!
Saw it earlier, cracking film. Probably not quite as excellent as the first just because that was such an unexpected surprise whereas Golden Circle has some anticipation behind it. But all the good stuff is still there; witty script, great fight choreography, mad set piece action sequences, a general sense of ludicrous over-the-topness and one or two genuinely quite emotional moments as well which I was not really expecting.
Highly recommended.
