Having recently nearly finished painting all of my imperial cruiser hulls I decided to stop putting off my chaos fleet and break them out of the storage shed.
I did a quick test of the scheme I have planned
Quite happy with it, the bone colour is due to some old fluff I wrote, basically they have coated their ships in bone paste as part of a ritual that turns them into warp conduits, allowing daemons free roam in the "real" world. It's also easy to do and pops on a black table
With the tester done I got excited and set the bfg tray on the table and got to work.
I cleaned and built almost all of my cruisers, doubling the number of chaos ships I have built.
Unfortunately when I looked for the spray I found out the brother in law had borrowed it and that stumped me. Here is where I got to

I'm impressed that you're making an entire armada all at once.

Interesting conversions on those Light Cruisers!
Are you also planning on doing some heavy cruisers by combining the Chaos sprues with Imperial weapon parts?
