Having recently nearly finished painting all of my imperial cruiser hulls I decided to stop putting off my chaos fleet and break them out of the storage shed.
I did a quick test of the scheme I have planned

Quite happy with it, the bone colour is due to some old fluff I wrote, basically they have coated their ships in bone paste as part of a ritual that turns them into warp conduits, allowing daemons free roam in the "real" world. It's also easy to do and pops on a black table


With the tester done I got excited and set the bfg tray on the table and got to work.


I cleaned and built almost all of my cruisers, doubling the number of chaos ships I have built.
Unfortunately when I looked for the spray I found out the brother in law had borrowed it and that stumped me. Here is where I got to

Interesting conversions on those Light Cruisers!

Are you also planning on doing some heavy cruisers by combining the Chaos sprues with Imperial weapon parts?
