Fury? I thought the characters were based on the four horsemen with DS having War and DS2 using Death. Either way looking forward to it, just seems out of theme with the other two.

Agreed. Should be Conquest or Famine, no?
That's if they were sticking to the Biblical Horsemen, which I think they kinda moved away from since Darksiders 2 when you had all the extra stuff added in.
In fairness, it would probably have been hard to make a game starring famine. What, does he make people really hungry?
The 4th, though, is either conquest or pestilence, according to Wikipedia. And they could have done something with pestilence, basically just be a nurgle marine.
Anyways......my biggest complaint is that fury doesn't seem all that angry. More, sadistic, than anything? IDK, hard to tell from 2 lines of dialogue.
I'm looking forward to it, though, and I hope it's good. I enjoyed the first two.

Well this is a very pleasant surprise. After the fall of THQ I thought the series was done.
Apparently its set around the same time as part2. So it looks like chronologically speaking the first game is the third part of the story so far Still now I can get my hopes back up for a game following each rider, and then a fifth instalment featuring the team up vs heaven and hell that the end of the first game hinted at
I am beside myself with excitement! I loved the other two games and really thought with the demise of THQ that this franchise would be forever lost to the void.
And while I understand the confusion over the whole '4 horsemen' references, I think THQ had decided to do Fury instead of Pestilence before the studio died. Then again, it's been years since I was even paying attention to the Darksiders franchise so I could be full of it.
Either way, I'm stoked!
