Hey guys,

wasnt sure where else to post this, so let me know if I need to move the thread!

I have seen some pretty poor prize choices before where it seems like the organisers are keeping as much as they can get away with, which is fine, but as a player it is always interesting to see what tournaments come up with.

What do you like to see at tournaments?

I have only organised one tournament before, but I wanted to make something special for the prizes, and since I own a 3D printer, I designed and printed some trophies! Several people at the tournament were also tournament organisers and asked if I could do theirs too (see below). I also used a load of FLGS vouchers

If you want to see more, there is more info on my website/ blog

does that make the tournament more competitive though? If you know you're playing just for cash? I imagine that can cause some nasty games? :/

Each one took around 12 hours to print with a 0.2mm layer, and I used black PLA so the customer could paint it however they like I believe they just spray painted them.
