Just saying 'hi' to the members.

I've recently joined the WH40K universe. I've spent every evening for the last 4 weeks either building or painting something and seem to have little time for less important activities like cooking/cleaning and walking the dog. So I suppose I must be doing something right.

I'm in Ottawa and hope to make contact with some players for a regular game

Looking forward to 8th too!!

cheers

Hi
I'm starting with CSM. I really like the way they look and there's a lot of fluff for them. I might collect the imperial guard too. They seem to have so many interesting looking units.

Yeah it is a good time to join, but I'm a bit stuck at the moment, I don't want to spend too much time learning 7th when 8th is only just around the corner.

I just wish they'd announce a release date,

Cheers

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

Shouldn't be too long for the new release. By the time you get some CSM set up with a nice paint job it should be here!

Hello, welcome to Dakka, CSM and 40k!

I suggest looking for a facebook group in your area to get some games, there will be many willing people in there to teach you, and possibly gaming groups to join!

Welcome to Dakka !!!
40k is a very demanding game. But making something to call your own, clashing it other equally loved army, and having a good time in between. Its worth it.
