I’m playing my guys with a WWI trench infantry vibe. Mortar team placed behind the bunker for indirect fire, CCS on the battlements will give them Supressive orders, themselves Bring it Down and/or 1st Platoon Squads (with commissar) in cover in front of them FRFSRF. 1st PL PCS will be in the bunker itself to pop out with flamers. 2nd PL squads will form and outer mobile perimter and the ratlings will be chucked into the most annoying corner possible. It always amazes me how much firepower an opponent will expand to root those little guys out. All those poor bloody infantry hold the line behind the sandbags and razorwire until the cavalry Vendetta and their Scion package comes in guns blazing to save the day.

It’s not ultra-gamey to use fortifications like that is it? I mean, I’m trying to make it as thematic as possible here.

Is this meant to be a competitive list? If so, I'd personally say you could use a little more anti armor. It'd be easier to figure out what's lacking if we know what it's for.

Cheers. It's mainly meant to be a take-all-comers go to list for our local GW store. I'm not sure what the main choice is there as far as armies go.

Is a Vendetta not anti-armour enough? I'm not sure what else I should sacrifice to bring more punch to the table.

Vendettas are pretty good at what they do, but imo some melta would also help. Tho you should be ok for a 1000 point game.

Mainly you lack mobility imho, but you are going for a WW1 vibe, so I guess that makes sense. Grabbing objectives is solely reliant on the Vendetta, which can potentially work, but if it goes, your strategy for getting objectives is gone with it. Maybe others can also comment on this, but that's a thought I had at least. But a chimera in there wouldn't hurt either.
