I dunno, i play Guard and Ultramarines so it seems like the perfect campaign for me. But before I even had a chance to defend Cadia we had moved to the next book. Then before I get a chance to fight my way to Terra with my new Guilliman model I hear that Guilliman has started his Super Crusade with new super marines.

I'm as excited as anyone else for 8th but did we have to breeze by these major events so quickly? These battles could have been given as much attention as the Horus Heresy but instead they seem insignificant now...

It's kind of annoying with as big of an event as it was. I would have liked about double time between releases. However it's not like anyone is stopping you from playing it now. I think they might have just wanted to get it all available ASAP.

Yes.
It was over before I even finished reading Warzone Fenris. Should have been at least twelve months worth of games, books and other releases - could have been merged with SW: A.
Not that I give a damn about Guard but to lose Cadia in what felt like a month.

I don't break the rules but I'll bend them as far as they'll go.

Nah. Storms gather quickly. Then the storm hits (8th edition). Then the insurance companies come around and clean up (FAQs).

Yeah, I totally forgot about Fenris! That should have been a major event. Insteas it was a footnote in the story. Very unfortunate.

No, Cadia didn't deserve a more drawn out death. It didn't deserve the 15 year drawn out death it already got. Cadia should've been dead and gone over a decade now. The first gathering storm was a rehash of a campaign that already happened, with some new elements tossed in. Shouldn't have even been a campaign book, the fluff should've just been added on to the next gathering storm. Refusing to let Cadia die has kept us locked in stasis for the better part of two decades, I'm just glad that it's finally over.
