The Hellforged Warpack requires you nominate one of your vehicles in it as the warp pack alpha which gains a 4+ invulnerable save.

You need to have three options from the list of vehicles. So after taking two Forgefiends can you take a cheap Hellbrute and give it the 4+ save? Or am I missing a restriction.

It seems like a bit of a steal because the save would really improve the Hellbrute.

Yes, you can do that. It is a good deal but it should be noted that the Hellbrute doesn't get any use out of the ability to Daemonforge every turn so it's not entirely an upside.
