Can any of you tell me if the ardboyz kit comes with enough of each weapon type to arm the unit with all of the same weapons or do you need to mix them up?

For example, if i want all 2 handed weapons or all shields can it be done?

No, can't be done with a single box.

And wouldn't make much sense either imo, the Shield Orcs can run in the second rank an can be assigned the wounds before the Great Weapons to keep the damage up.

i was more interested in knowing about spare bits.
i wanted to do a bunch of arm conversions on other models and if it had everything that would have been a no brainer kit.

See there's a problem with that...

The Arms themselves are made specifically for the Ardboyz, Since their model was built back in old fantasy, they were designed to be placed rank and file (you can still get that with some of the old models) and their body types are very different than both the regular Greenskinz and the Ironjawz. Granted if you sawed off the fist you might be able to do some botched kitbashing, but yeah unless you're making more ardboyz you should just leave the arms as they are.

this is why we ask before buying

The sprues come in sets of 5 bodies, with a set of bits common to the sprues. For every 5 bodies, there are enough arms in the kit to build:

- 2 Banners

- Musician's drum and drumstick

- The Boss's Big Choppa (one-handed hold pose)

- 3 sets of arms for the Big Choppas (two-handed pose)

- At least 3 or 4 sets of arms for dual-wielding (mix of clubs, swords, and axes)

- 2 Shields (must be glued to arm with one-hand weapon, with weapon chopped off)

Hope this helps! I just put some together not that long ago, and haven't put together any with the shields yet.
