I've always like the idea of chaos marines but really hated how much spikes and random bs is on them so I wanted to do an army themed around being pretty marines, but as chaos gods are concerned it's never exactly what you bargain for and I wanted to have this "beauty corrupted" theme going and the Fury bit, well if you're trying to look your best and the chaos gods laugh and feth you over...wouldn't you be a little pissed?

So the tentative fluff for this war band is that they are originally emperors children but some of the officers decided it was time to splinter off, they had their own ideas of what they wanted from slaanesh and went to build their following. Pillaging and plundering their way through the eye of terror and surrounding systems they were able to convert and grow their numbers before crash landing outside of some imperial hiveworld, these boys are very unlucky, surrounded by planetary defense forces they fought their way into the undercity and hid among the wrenched and forgotten.

After some time they establish their cozy cult den and begin to grow like a tumor under the unsuspecting city above. It didn't seem like much, an private in the planetary defense force would come to their district for a good time, then tell his friends about the untold pleasures in the underhive. In a remarkably short time the cult had grown and infected part of the defense force with their hunt to please slaanesh (without the use of hentai tentacles, the most overplayed slaanesh trope ever.)

fast forward a few short years and riots begin to break out all over the hive, soldiers with pale skin and adorned in trinkets, gold and pink are spotted more and more often (they are pale because they live in an undercity afterall), these riots often require military force to quell and after each instance a tank goes missing from the armory here, munitions there, here and there things are not adding up. The cult begins to smuggle arms to their underhive

Up to this point the cult has not used it's hidden military force and the marines walked through the district like gods among the poor people who had not yet joined them, offering them riches and a chance to strike back at the upper class who has forgotten them so long ago. Needless to say this grew into a major armed conflict of class warfare with the cult arming the denizens of the undercity and pointing their rage towards strategic objectives and guiding them ultimately towards capturing and controlling a major space port of the imperial city.

Currently the Cult has barricaded themselves inside the city controlling a major port allowing them to bring additional supplies from orbit, occasional attempts by different factions of the Inquisition have tried to cut their way into the city but were met with an entire population of a hive city against them, anyone within the walls who had not joined the cult was at this point sacrificed or was overdue for it...

Maybe one day I'll take some more time to build this story out a bit and make some narrative missions or something neat for it, we'll see gotta build and paint the army first and then fit the narrative to fit their basing a bit more...maybe they are summoning a demon or something and it's causing the ground to get ruptured or some gak...
