Hey guys and girls,

I have been absent from Warhammer for about 7 years, having had about 6000 points of orks. My orks were made up of pretty much every unit they had, and so my love of conversions took hold, as I am far more of a converter than I am a painter - although hopefully that shall soon change!

My questions to you lovely people are;

I'd like a specialised force of sorts (almost the opposite of orks) any suggestions? I've seen there are a ton of new kits and armies since I last played.

How would you research/buy an army? My inkling Is that I should work out a list and buy it in 1000 point chunks?

Furthermore how do you strike the right balance between a relatively competitive army and a force you can have fun with? - not really interested in tournaments particularly but who doesn't be like to win every once in a while! I'm more of a fan of being part of a large apocalypse team game than destroying someone ruthlessly

From Berkshire, UK but living in Newcastle for the next year after university so if anyone is from the area then any gaming club recommendations etc would be awesome!

Many thanks in advance,

Cheers,

JP

your mind

I would buy the new box for eighth and play death guard and use the numarines either for trade or better yet for traitor marines. Then add some vehicles as funds allowed.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
