I'm almost done with all my Necron HQ's. This time, I've finished Anrakyr the Traveller.

Spoiler:

Some changes I made: I didn't like his Mickey Mouse ears, so those were cut off and replaced with some serrated knives from a Dark Eldar kit. I also had to cut off the that little crossguard from his staff and replace it because it's a finecast kit of of course it was unfixably miscast and that is a choice that I made when I bought a finecast product.

Speaking of Dark Eldar knives, I also added some to the Tachyon arrow because it looked too plain to me.

I also decided to go with a green scheme instead of blue, because I tried doing blue and I wasn't super crazy about how it came out - I wound up stripping and redoing so it's not apparent in these pics.

Here are all of the Necron HQ's I have finished so far:

Awesome, I think the design additions are a great improvement. I really like the rusty metallic effect on the armor around his waist.

I've actually been looking at your pics of Obyron and Zahndrekh a lot recently for inspiration; I'm working on my own band of Necron HQ's at the moment and yours are great

I think that Obyron and Zahndrekh might be the best minis I've ever done to be honest.

I love the models but what stuck out more for me was the board with the skulls in the green ooze

Facts are chains that bind perception and fetter truth. For a man can remake the world if he has a dream and no facts to cloud his mind.

Beautifully done! Love the contrasting shades of metal and the board
