If you are new to the game, consider acquiring War Room 2 (app) for any device that can get it. It has the most current rules, the most up to date cards, and is updated as erratas and updates are released. The initial app is free, but the Skorne and Minion decks would run you around ~$20

Beyond that, what kind of lists do you prefer? Infantry; Light or Heavy? Beast skew? Warlocks that prefer to support their infantry or beasts, or ones that can decimate the opponent's army on their own?

Or do you realize the trap inherent in the last question? most Warnouns can easily kill a tenth of your opponent's list, unfortunately they then die to the rest!

having looked over battlecollege, I really like the Desert Hydra. I like the model and the rules, and would hate to see it across the field from me. It could easily become a centerpiece model for an army.
