Hi all,

I had a browse through the forum headings and unless I'm mistaken, there isn't forum dedicated to discussing the wargaming hobby generally, as opposed to in relation to a specific game or company, am I right about that? If not, and if it's possible, mods feel free to move this thread.

So I was wondering if any of you know of any good miniature games (any scale any genre) that are adult themed, politically incorrect or even just obviously aimed at a mature audience by virtue of background fluff. A lot of people won't know this, but the first iterations of WH40K, back in the Rogue Trader days, were very tongue in cheek and satirical, and with a definite hint of political comment on the situation in 1980s Britain under Thatcher. I think it's fair to say that the original players of Rogue Trader grew up but the game didn't, and to my eyes what's happened is that basically the designers and writers have, over time, started taking seriously aspects of the WH40K lore that were originally meant to be parody, in order to cater to a younger market. That's my two cents, YMMV, but the main point I'm getting at is that it looks to me like the hobby in general is very lacking in content that's tailored to a mature audience.

That said, I don't keep my finger on the pulse of new releases, I never know what the latest kickstarter is, so I'm wondering if there's stuff out there that I'm missing.

It has some pictures which definitely make it 'politically incorrect'.

I have Macho Women With Guns, Bat-Winged Bimbos From Hell and Renegade Nuns On Wheels, which are most amusing skirmish RPGs.

Panty Explosion Perfect sounds rather dodgy but it's actually a well-thought-out RPG about being a Japanese high school girl.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Warhammer in all its flsavours is pretty un-PC, few strong female roles and most of the factions are rather savage.

Warmachine has plenty of strong female roles, but they are nearly all heavily sexualised.

Ironic to read of 'adult themed' games with teen sexuality.

I would say that to some extent all war games are politically incorrect. For the more sensitive SJW's out there the idea of playing a game where you play factions that range from awful brutal dictatorships to genocidal maniacs (40k) is very incorrect (and that you would actively recruit young impressionable children to play as well). I mean, lets not forget PETA trying to publicly shame GW into not sculpting fur onto its models.

And that's just the fantasy/sifi genre. How many people play the Germans in Bolt Action, or an evil oppressor colonist European power in late 19th century skirmish games? All I'm saying is you don't need big boobs or a racist theme to be seen as
Politically incorrect, you just need to play certain flavors of historicals.

And I'm a flaming liberal, so I get offended easily

Jeez, no mention of F.A.T.A.L. in a thread about politically incorrect wargames?

I personally found the factions in the recent Turf War Kickstarter to be a bit politically incorrect. The factions rely on the worst racial stereotypes coupled with cheap pop-culture "homages" for certain figures that just came off as being in very poor taste to me.

Most of the "icon" art in that kickstarter looks like publicity still from very popular movies put through a filter. That project will likely get shut down hard before it can deliver.

I read about 75% of that review. Holy gak. What the actual feth. It's either the world's longest troll (900 pages) or proof that some men mature mentally until they are 13 and then say, "feth it, this is good enough." Jeebus Christo.

I initially thought it was a joke game, but with some of the stuff in there I just don't know.

I love the tropes wiki review said that he used it to traumatize his friends who became numb to all of DnD's horror scenarios.

They had to burn their character sheets afterwards just to feel clean.

Seriously, the guys who made that game should've been getting psychiatric help, not making a game and putting their twisted fantasies into it.

I've got those too (goodness knows where by now but I still have them), they got a fair amount of play at the time too being much better than expected game wise

you could probably add in the Reich Star RPG as well

beat me to it.

I can't remember the title but I played a Cuthulu mytho-based rpg that had some pretty... graphic backstory options.

H.B.M.C.- The end hath come! From now on armies will only consist of Astorath, Land Speeder Storms and Soul Grinders!
War Kitten- Vanden, you just taunted the Dank Lord Ezra. Prepare for seven years of fighting reality...
koooaei- Emperor: I envy your nipplehorns. <Magnus goes red. Permanently>
Neronoxx- If our Dreadnought doesn't have sick scuplted abs, we riot.
Frazzled- I don't generally call anyone by a term other than "sir" "maam" "youn g lady" "young man" or " HEY bag!"
Ruin- It's official, we've ran out of things to talk about on Dakka. Close the site. We're done.
mrhappyface- "They're more what you'd call guidlines than actual rules" - Captain Roboute Barbosa
Steve steveson- To be clear, I'd sell you all out for a bottle of scotch and a mid priced hooker.

Very interesting thread, but I can't really help, but vinnie brothers make some "adult" models of good quality. My 2 cents

Well any game can become adult with the right supplement, like 3.5 D&D had the book of Carnal Knowledge;
and you can not talk about adult RPGs without mentioning the Kult RPG.. that is very adult themed and
not a game you would play at a game convention due to it very politically incorrect topics

As for Adult table top games add to the list; GWAR game.. the theme is very teen age directed but the limited
edition miniature of Oderus Urungus that shows his cuddle fish... plus they are the opposite of politically correct.

Also as already mentioned Kingdom Death.. Adult themed .. Adult miniatures, not a game to pull out on Saturday
morning at the game store during the Pokemon league

Kingdom Death certainly earns its mature rating suggestion with sex and horror, though there's kind of an eye-rolling level of immaturity in the repetition of those themes in a pretty superficial way. So... kind of depends on what you want out of "mature." A very enjoyable game, but not without flaws.

FATAL. Sweet feth I had no idea how bad things could be.... I thought it was a JOKE or something and the game could not possible be that bad. I was innocent to the ways of... Ugh.
Believe me guys, that review is still not quite as bad as the game itself. I... No, I cannot say it. I feel dirty just thinking about it.

I do, however, possess a copy. Mainly to enlighten my players when they think a ruleset I want to use is bad.

Ah, F.A.T.A.L. or where man finds that there is no God. The game that makes Synnibar look good by comparison. You know there were actually 2 editions?

I am now intrigued by this game F.A.T.A.L. in the same way one is intrigued to watch Cannibal Holocaust.

Eh, fatal is more interesting to read about than it is to actually read. it's an awful train wreck, but movie wise it's more like the kind that overwhelms you with a wave of tedious ugliness than the "so horrible it's fascinating" kind.

I'm surprised nobody is talking about AK-47 Republic, the tongue-in-chief "Africian tinpot dictator" wargame that even random charts for generating your country's name and flag.
