Hey!

I'm a longtime lurker on these boards, since I come here whenever I wanna catch GW rumors But this is my first actual post.

This isn't intended as spam or self-promotion, but I thought that there might be some people here that would dig these minis and maybe the game

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/blacklistgames/street-masters-rise-of-the-kingdom?ref=user_menu

My brother (Adam) and I are former FFG developers and have been designing games for awhile, our most notable titles recently have been Warhammer Quest: The Adventure Card Game and The Walking Dead: No Sanctuary. This is probably the design I am most proud of and have had the most fun developing and playtesting.

It's essentially a love letter to the arcade and console beat-em-ups of our childhood; something we are both very passionate about.

Anyway, hope you check it out and some of you get a kick out of it We hit 50% funding in our first week, so hoping we can fund in the next week or two and get some of the awesome stretch goals we have planned.

Thanks!
Brady

Thank you! I appreciate it

We got featured on Kotaku late last night, so funding has picked up a bit today.

Many more people will see this thread in News and Rumors. A mod should be willing to move it for you if you ask nicely.

Will the miniatures be plastic? I'd love to get some of the homage characters, like Broly and Akuma-Goro.

Ok, cool, thanks! I'll look into that. I'm a newcomer here so not sure how the best way to bring this to a moderator's attention but I'm assuming it won't be too hard to find out.

Yes the minis will be fully assembled hard plastic. The resins came out pretty great!

When people say hard plastic, they assume stuff like GW. Are you sure you're producing that?

Sorry, wrong terminology. It'll be board game plastic similar to CMON. I'm not personally handling the production side of things, but the I believe the publisher is using the same studio that worked with Kingdom Death. From the Kickstarter page:

Street Masters: Rise of the Kingdom has highly detailed, unpainted miniatures made of a rigid PVC plastic,

Put some pics in the OP.
People are a lot more likely to click a link if they see some pictures first.

I've probably been ninja'ed (Get over here!) but Kingdom Death minis are high impact polystyrene produced by Wargames Factory. Rigid PVC can mean a lot of things. Wrath of Kings PVC is different from Nolzur's PVC which is different from Dungeon Saga PVC. Do you have any other information about the manufacturer?

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I love all the designs, so far, but please don't have the sculptor give Mme. Bison a cheesecake pose. The costume is a bit Street Fighter Burlesque as it is.
