Some of you know i have been working on a Reaver that was donated to me to rescue and finish

Heres where its at so far ......having fun with the rescue n cleanups

Doing a video log is much more fun than i thought too!
Got some painterly decisions to make too.
Gotta be red but which legion??

Looks like quite the project! You could go with Blood Angels or my personal favorite, 30k Thousand Sons. Or by legion don't the Titans have their own heraldry and the like?

Yeah, normally titans wouldn't have any non-titan heraldry unless they pledged themselves to a campaign (and even then I think that's just a fluff-based excuse).

Nothing irks me more than Space Marine chapter titans...as that makes zero sense.

Your titan is looking good mate, love the texture on the armour panels.

Indeed. Many titans will take on some campaign heraldry, but this is normally isolated to their banners (there are of course times where other heraldry will be on the carapace of a titan, but in general it's the banner). Also one can occasionally see a chapter symbol on a titan's carapace somewhere, to show a close bond forged in battle, but there is no such thing as a chapter titan.

It has to red because evelyns dad chose red because hus favourite regiment is the royal engineers ( red blue)
I will a blood angels nod on it as well but it has to be a titan legion.

Legio Atarus, red- bone.
Legio Invicta, which is described as crimson and brass.

If i want to go entirely red then there is always Legio Metalica.

But any pics of your faves would be great use!

I do think stripes or chevrons (or quartered shields) are absolutely a must for a Titan. Or some kind of heraldy-esque scheme...even if it's just on one plate. I mean, it's a Titan, not a Rhino. Gotta have something crazy.

There's so much open space on a titan, even a Knight, that doing anything flat and simple just doesn't mentally work, at least for me. That top carapace plate looks like a place for all manner of interesting detail painting with all the detail on it.

I never stripped it btw its storvermin fur spray straight over it all.
The roughly drybrushed n stippled with a large brush and boltgun metal

I just have to add some text to the fluty parts of the carapace banner and the ad a design to the shield.

The made banner out of paper paint, waterslides and varnish.
then hung betwixed its legs.
