Yeah I know I'm a bit into the T-Sons at the moment.

With rumors of Battlefleet Gothic returning, I've been curious about the game. Part of me wants to start collecting as it has a long history (old minis eBay availability is a plus) and flying cathedrals in space are just cool, but part of me knows I've got a collection of ships from about six starship miniatures games. However, one thing that could get me into the game is if the Thousand Sons have a Chaos Fleet.

I know Magnus sent the Thousand Sons fleet away before the Battle of Prospero, but did they ever get another fleet after joining Chaos? If so, a there any special rules or things I need to be aware of when collecting a fleet?

EDIT: Decided to do a little research. They do have a fleet, but I'm not sure where they got it. What's the story behind that?

I doubt there's that much background behind the 'Legion fleet' of the Thousand Sons. I'd imagine that after the Heresy they've ended up becoming rather fragmented, either forming warbands of their own, others being destroyer or taken over by other bands.

The Scion of Prospero for example has survived the Space Wolves attack and was used by Ahriman on multiple occasions and also fought during the Twelfth (Gothic War) and Thirteenth Black Crusades.
