This NEW Kickstarter project features a fearsome tribe of trolls for tabletop gamers and hobbyists. The Tikki Trolls have an “old school” look -- lean and mean. The goal is to have 9 different, all-metal, troll miniatures (ranging from 38mm to 54mm tall). All arms and heads are interchangeable for customizing your gang of trolls to have its own unique look. Go feral with claw and tooth alone. Add some South Pacific-inspired weapons: leiomano war clubs and bone-barbed spears. Turn up the regeneration factor with an array of mutated troll body parts. Or go macabre, with gruesome “living” weapons and arachnid augmentations. Tikki Trolls will be sculpted by master artisan Paul Muller.

This is my first Kickstarter project, so I will keep it manageable in size and well controlled. I hope that the size and versatility of the Tikki Trolls will lend themselves to fantasy army units. There will be larger leader types and even troll that ride giant arachnids and giant rhino beetles.

I’d be remiss not to mention that Pedro Navarro has sculpted some terrifying pets for the Tikki Trolls including, Giant Pedipalps, Giant Rhino Beetles, a Giant Slug from Hell and a Colossal Rhino Beetle the size of a house.

Just passed the Funding Level! Thanks to all of the Backers. Now we have a bit more than three weeks to add as many minis as possible. First up is my personal favorite, the Arachnid Rider Set. The Tikki Troll rider will be sculpted by Paul Muller and the Giant Pedipalp has already been sculpted by Pedro Navarro. Take a look at the artwork by Bobby Penafiel and let me know what you think. Just $2,500 in Pledges gets us there.

Well, that was an instant pledge for me. Paul Muller plus great concept plus small company equals you got you my money. I hope this goes far. That club of severed troll arms is the best troll weapon I've ever seen. The sculpts are so characterful!

I'm wondering how much they'd like to play with some of Paymaster's Pacific Islander figures.

Such unique and funky sculpts. I'm sold on at least one.

@Highlord and @Gallahad Thanks for Pledging. It definitely means a lot for a young company with "niche" products. We're having fun here at Mortal Arrow developing the concepts and working with great talent to make it happen. After the second Stretch Goal, it's my plan is to let the Backers drive the Trolls and Add-Ons. So ideas are always welcome.

By the way, @Gallahad, if you like the "club of arms" then you might also like our shield and weapon concepts for the other Kahuna types. To give you an idea, the Death Kahuna is "on deck" as the next Stretch Goal.

This KS is a really great value. I was happy to get five big trolls in metal with alternative arms and heads for $53 shipped, but with the early bird pledge I now get 6! That's less than $9 a troll shipped! The Early Bird pledges end tonight if any of you are on the fence.

I backed as soon as I saw these guys. The campaign has been fun so far with a nifty little riddle game (partially solved by yours truly) opening up a bit of a bonus for those who are EB Backers. A new game and new rewards are being prepared for later in the campaign, join in for all the fun!

Paul Muller did some great job on these trolls, they are literally packed with character.

As for bugs here are some of the little ones. Im very happy to be part of this project, it has been quite fun.

We've hit our first Stretch Goal and officially unlocked the Arachnid Rider set (Tikki Troll rider and Giant Pedipalp steed). The next Stretch Goal is less than $1500 away and includes a shaman-type Death Kahuna Tikki Troll (see design illustration a few posts back in this thread), as well as a wondrous set of Giant Rhino Beetles by Pedro Navarro (modular sets that allow up to 9 different beetle styles). You can join for the full set of Tikki Trolls or any of the Add-On bugs that Pedro Navarro has sculpted!

How could you not want to own a large number of these to mix and match. My 10 won't be enough! I am already planning the next order!
