Does anyone here on Dakka play Runescape? I do and I love it despite some of its shortcomings. I figured I'd start a thread so we could talk about the game, recently released content, what we're trying to accomplish now, etc.

For those of you who don't know, RuneScape is a MMORPG set in the land of Gielenor (also known as RuneScape). There are lots of skills to train (27 currently), monsters to fight, and quests to complete, not to mention a huge world to explore, with new stuff added all the time. The game is technically free to play, but you unlock a ton more places to go and other features if you pay for a membership (and the rates are very reasonable, like 7 or 8 US dollars a month). It's not as pretty or well-known as World of Warcraft, but to me at least it is a fun and entertaining diversion and keeps me coming back for more.
