In the Warp, getting trolled by Tactical_Spam, AKA TZEENTCH INCARNATE

I've been toying around with some army lists for my Death army, trying to find some interesting/useful synergies. Here's what I came up with recently:

HQ:
Vampire Lord on Abyssal Terror (General) - Death Incarnate or Supernatural Horror Command Trait
Necromancer - Cursed Book artefact
Necrotect

Battleline:
20x Skeleton Warriors
5x Skeleton Horsemen

Warmachine:
Screaming Skull Catapult

This mounts up to 820 points, leaving me with 180 points to summon either my Grave Guard, Black Knights/Skeleton Horsemen, Skeleton Archers, Spirit Hosts or some Cairn Wraiths.

The Necromancer will be travelling with the Skeleton Warriors blob, buffing them with Mystic Shields and Vanhel's Dance Macabre, whilst also giving them +1 to hit by being close to them and giving enemies within 3" a -1 to their hit rolls. They'll be moving across the battlefield a bit quicker thanks to the Necrotect and the Vampire Lord's Hellish Vigour spell, too.

The Necrotect will probably be sticking with the Screaming Skull Catapult for a couple of turns, so it can fire twice. The extra shots will come in handy to spread out the -2 to Bravery across the enemy's ranks, which is also why I'd take the Death Incarnate or Supernatural Horror trait for my General, as they both work off of the enemy's Bravery.

Thoughts? I know that I'm putting a lot of faith into the Battleshock modifiers here, but I really want to run the Catapult and this seemed like a good way to make optimal use of it

you know there's been a lot of death players coming in lately...

Anyway I for one support the hammer and anvil strategy, in which you have durable troops hold the line for linebreakers like Blood Knights...

Against armies with high bravery, even with modifiers it will be difficult. Also most skeleton horses don't do enough. I would drop them for 10 skeletons to either surround the necromancer and get objectives. Also consider making the 20 man brick to 30 with spears. Going with your theme, if you wanted to be "that guy" think of a way to make 400 points to summon, give the necromancer the sword, summon mourngul. Mournguls work wonders with the catapult bravery modifier.
