Going to use the space to post my completed harlequins as I work through them. I paint pretty slow, so may not be updated too too often, but here we go~

First 3 clowns and a WIP clown car.

Finished up the clown car.

Everything so far has been done completely freehand and using brushes. In the future, I plan to use masking tape for the line work on my vehicles. I wanted to test my freehand work on something big. It turned out okay, but could always be better.

I'm working on the last 2 players to fill out the unit and a Troupe Master to go with them. Hopefully I'll have a full squad shot in a week or two.

The painting is pretty crisp and overall a good job.

Personally, I find the yellow really jarring. It clashes really horribly and drags the focus off what's otherwise a lovely paint job.

A blue, dark turquoise or a shade of purple would have complemented, but the yellow is a massive clash to my eyes, which is a shame as it's otherwise a really brilliant scheme.
