You know, for all its crummy looking shrimpy orks and 2nd ed. era vehicles I still love it when I see a good Gorkamorka era mini cropping up in someone's Ork army.

I just painted up this guy cause honestly he's a real gem from the GM collection who deserved a little love.

If you have a GM gem in your collection I'd love to see it.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

Wurrzag is the best! He's currently serving my Snakebites as their Mek (given that they use squiggoths for transports, he's usually relegated to repairing the buzzer squig katapults that I count as Lobbas).

I loved Gorkamorka, but don't have any of my old models. Lost in a house fire almost twenty years ago. That's a great classic model. I should look for some on eBay.

I don't really think it counts as a gorkamorka gem but when I was 8 I found my uncles old gorkamorka set unopened, I spent ages gluing together the little models and vehicles

There was one problem
The entire thing was in French

That was about 10 years ago and it was the thing that introduced me to warhammer. It holds a great place In my heart

And I still have the books
Which I can't understand
But looking at the pictures gives me great nostalgia off being little and the mystery of all this stuff I didn't understand alongside the amazing looking model pictures I spent forever staring at

I still have the books

I have some of the metals I fortuitously bought on Ebay at one point. Very glad I did. Even got to play a campaign with them.

@U971 that's a nice tidy example of a classic vehicle. Full service history? MOT? Mine were raked by a bunch of Yoofs with more teef than sense and they ended up looking like this.

They mostly hang about car parks playing their beats and blabbing about all their well orky mods.

@ Kestral- aw man those metals are just great. Wish I'd splashed out on more of those back in the day.
