Never Forget Isstvan!

Here is my first custodes squad, it is actually a guardian squad and one Hetaeron as my local gw is having a painting competition and the theme is 40k and at least a minimum sized squad (there is a sentinel that is finished but did not fit with the collage).

Those guys are looking ready for action. The blades are a great contrast to the gold.

Finished up my kitbash of Valdor yesterday. I just used the Hale body, with the mohawk head from the custodes kit and the regular spear since in the fluff he just had a "normal" spear

Another great model. I think I like the regular spear over the one that this model normally carries.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all. |

Finished up another 3 guardian spear custodes, and for foot sloggers all that is left is 3 sentinels and 1 hetaeron guard, the rest of them are unassembled. I also took the time to take a quick family shot of all of the custodes thus far.

Thank you!
I finally got around to building and painting a vexilla bearer after reading the rules for it in 40k and realizing I need one for my army

Here are my 3 Aquilon terminators. I am hoping with the new HQ model and the potential codex coming up soon that the custodes get access to more of their 30k gear.

Thanks! I went in and messed around with the light settings on my photo editor to try and get it back to some level of normal

Thank you! Custodes no matter the model are always a joy to paint, so you should really try your hand at it!
