Odysseus wrote:Hello there, we are indeed a religious country and in some areas more than the others. What you have seen probably is some documentrary of a village that still uses the old way of baking bread, rare sight but possible. For the phrase now i dont think that we use this phrase as it is translated, It is more possible to hear something like ''With the help of the god the bread will be good"
I will suggest something like "Με την βοήθεια του Θεού, θα έχουμε καλό ψωμί" or "Με την βοήθεια του Θεού, το ψωμί θα είναι καλό"
I will continue the research and come back maybe with another .quote.
Ps you will share pics of your diorama with us when it is ready?
Thanks so much for your help, I really appreciate it! The documentary in Greece caught my eye since I was already building the diorama so I decided that was my focus.
The oven in the documentary was HUGE, mine is only small compared.
Below is a
WIP pic. The oven, tables, breads, pizza and base tiles are 3D printed and freely available online. The pizza was repaired from being broken, the hole in the base was modified and I had to create a shim for the oven to space it wider at the base. I also used milliput to blend the render of the dome into the bricks. The log pile files were purchased and 3D printed. I designed the bread paddle and rolling pins and 3D printed those. The pizza, breads, wood, paddle and rolling pins are resin printed, and the other parts are printed on a standard FDM 3D printer.
I think the tables need to be scaled down.
I will also need a figurine or 2 at some point but have someone that can model them for me.
Thanks heaps
I appreciate your input.
PS, the tile it is on is 4 inches by 4 inches.
