Aloha! So some of you may have seen my blog:

https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/530674.page#5685720

In which I've documented pretty much all my 40k painting progress the past few years. It's a mishmash of buildings, display board work, and individual marine work. I thought it would be nice to have a place of just the FINISHED terrain stuff. When this image was rando-selected for display

it generated some comments questioning how stuff was constructed, which arnt easily answered in 40 character comment form. This way I'll put up the individual buildings and more immediately be able to answer questions/critiques/etc about them.

First up are my "VSG" equivalents. I made two of them fairly directly from this tutorial template
http://www.ironhands.com/h2_gen0.htm

I went through a few iterations of painting. At first I went grimy but later decided it was.. well.. TOO grimy. So i stripped the grime and repainted them. The first went to a friend so he wanted more of a raw look:

Saw this before and it is OUTSTANDING. Love the use of blue and copper tones.

Love it. I would love to play on a table with terrain like this

Glory is fleeting, but obscurity lasts forever.

Considering also your duty as a warrior you should not waver. Because there is nothing more auspicious for a warrior than a righteous war.

Thanks! The green vats will come up eventually! I need to making those "composition" images for this thread but, for now, we'll stick to existing decent images.

The other version of the VSG:

Nice terrain, just need a table/battle map set up in all its glory.
