Nice yellow on those guys! Very crisp - as Imperial Fists should be. I'm assuming when you put the Chapter symbol transfer on the shoulder you painted the white circle behind it?

Greetings lawlskees, Seeing Your paint work on the Primaris Space Marine models makes me want to drop the cash to buy the Dark Imperium Box.

The models all look great, the Imperial Fist colors are done very well.

All You need now is a Chaos Space Marines - Iron Warriors Opponent to stomp out with Your Imperial Fists!

Hey everyone!

Thank you for the nice comments, much appreciated. The colors I used were army painter's daemonic yellow, then I used Vallejo's flat yellow and games-workshop's Dorn yellow for highlights. To answer the question about the decals: I brush on diluted (with water) elmer's glue to the shoulder pad prior to putting the decal on. Then I make small cuts around the decal because the round one's always turn out bumpy. So i make small cuts around it so it presses flat. The elmer's glue combined with a light coat of matte varnish to the miniature after painting makes the clear residue around the decal disappear.

Yes, the models in the new DI box set are fantastic. I stepped away from 40k for about year now because 7th rules were a little out of hand for my taste. But with the newly vamped rules and the gorgeous new marines I couldn't resist. The only issue I have with the new models is the mold lines. They do require a lot of clean up when you build them, but honestly I don't feel it is something I can complain about haha. GW has done a great job.

Good looking squad there! Very clean work.

If I had one criticism it would be the bases, something just seems off about em.

These are very nice. I never really liked the red on yellow of codex Imp Fists but you have changed my mind
