u.k

im trying to spray a citadel colour called screamer pink, at lower pressures to spray up close. It refuses to spray i thinned it like normal and used airbrush flow improver, no luck so i thinned it even more.
then i remembered a video where a guy pulled the needle back, low and behold it fired out but because i thinned it even heavier it flew out really fast pooled and blew everywhere. wondering if its a mechanical issue or paint issue.
im using an eclipse hp-cs at about 10 psi if it helps and the standard 0.35 mm.
thank you

Could be either, but sounds like a paint issue. Check if your needle is bent. Does the airbrush spray other colors or water okay?

Maybe you need to just adjust the PSI a little higher until it behaves properly.
