So I'm putting together a small 1k alpha strike Ironclad Kharadron list, and I'm thinking I want to get some Fyreslayer allies for it. Now, I'm totally 120% new to AoS so I'm not sure how allies work, but I was wondering if this would be viable and maybe some tips on how to make it work. I really want to use the Magmadroth or any of the varients of it. I'm fairly certain it can't jump on the Ironclad, which is fine, thought it would be cool for a gigantic dragon beast dropping from a cargo bay of a skyvessel. Thanks folks!

Love the concept! however you're right since the rules for Skyvessels state that only models with the Skyfarers keyword are allowed on the ship (which at the moment is Kharadron infantry that's not in a boat)

The magmadroth is going to have to hoof it unfortunately... hell the Fyreslayers aren't even allowed to take a step on the railing (though I doubt they want to...)

That being said your army rules wise would be considered an Order Army, in which the rules for that is in the generals handbook. Thus the Kharadron's unique army rules aren't in effect, as those rules are for an army with a Kharadron allegiance... You could also make them a Duradin army since both ranges have the Duradin keyword. But that doesn't have any bonus other than "Oh hey we're duradin".

It's hard to mix the two armies since they only benefit their own factions and are two completely different play styles. If however you can find a way to mix the two together perfectly then by all means do so, Both are good at their respective jobs, Kharadron have a lot of guns and are quite fast, and while Fyreslayers are slow, they're pretty good in melee and durable despite not wearing much...

Still the two don't really mix well together...
