Greetings!

Those that have read the Imperial Armour Xenos Tau units, would have been somewhat disappointed. So I thought I would add some rules to their kit to make them a tad more mobile, like they should be in the fluff.

I would like to get some feedback for the following rules.

Please take note that it is for fun and not an attempt to make them over-powered. It would only be used against close friends who have agreed with it. So with that disclaimer out of the way...

Vectored Retro-Thrusters
If this unit chooses to Fall Back, it CAN increase its Movement characteristics to 20” for that movement phase. However in the following shooting phase, they count as having advanced.

Reason: With the loss of JSJ, this rule to a certain extent replicates that. Even now when Battlesuits fallback, its only 8" so they are still gonna get charged the next turn. There is a penalty for taking the longer Fall Back move which I think helps to balance it.

Fusion Cascade (weapon option)
Change its ability to: Roll two dice when inflicting damage with this weapon and discard the lowest result.

Reason: The random nature of this weapon, makes it risky to use and the fact that its short range makes it even riskier. It is taking the melta rule but removing the half range requirement, which makes it more reliable. However I feel this might be too good, so I'm sitting on the fence about this one.

Will probably add a bit to R'alai but will work on that later.
