Hi guys,
I originally didn't read what each painting and modelling thread was for, and posted my in Progress pics I the questions thread. Oh well - at any rate, they're finished. Hereven is my first 1000 pts of The Sons of Rust.

Very thematic looking army you have there: the OSL on the flames and the plume of puke/snot is rather well done.
The black horns give a really rotten feel to the miniatures in a way that wood turns black when it's been sopping wet for ages.
Kudos!

Thanks guys. I've been out of 40k for 5 years, though I started back in 1994, and was hot/cold on it for the better part of 25 years. Nice to get back to my roots and paint some grim-dark. I largely play Infinity now, which is clean and sleek looking - so something different looking felt pretty good to paint.

Greetings Sworn Enemy, I thought it was a type-o at first when I saw Sons of Rust, I was thinking Sons of Russ, Space Wolves.
I got to say I was pleasantly surprised to see Your Great work on the new Death Guard model miniatures.
They all look great, I have trouble picking a favorite! :-)

Hah hah hah. Yeah - i picked it to tweak the noses of a lot of space wolf players locally. I personally prefer the plasma dude - or the bigger fellow with the tongue hanging out.
Thanks for commenting!

Nice theme and nice paintjob. On the side note the object source lightning on the plasma looks a little bit overdone, nice everywhere else.
