Antimatter games is the only company I know that has created an underwater themed war-game. This alone makes their game worth looking into because these days every game is just another carbon-copy of one-another; it's time for something new and refreshing:

Thanks for the write up. I have been interested in this game and will go over your review later since the game play is what I am most curious about.

Reading the mechanics it sounds a lot like ASOBH, Of Gods and Mortals, and similar games. Light on mechnics but heavy on the "... yes, but this special rules allows X!". have a feeling they are leaning heavily on the Song of Blade and Heroes mindset here with a ton of special rules instead of actual "depth" of interaction created by mechanics.

That is disappointing. However, the mission generation system seems like a potnential bright spot.

Thank you for the write up as I have been curious about this game.

Since it is in fact based off of the Song of Blades and Heroes system, you'd be right about that!

The game is a lot of fun, the miniatures are, for the most part, amazing, and they just introduced submarines for 3 of the factions in the recently concluded Kickstarter as discussed here:

Check it out - I don't think you'll be disappointed!
