Well my flgs is having a small store tourney of release day with the requirement that your list must include one of the ships from the release.
This is what I am thinking about using, your thoughts will be appreciated.

Captain Nym (Rebel) — Scurrg H-6 Bomber: Veteran Instincts, Twin Laser Turret, Bomblet Generator, Advanced Sensors, "Genius", Engine Upgrade, Havoc

Miranda Doni — K-Wing: Twin Laser Turret, Plasma Torpedoes, Extra Munitions, Cruise Missiles, Sabine Wren, Cluster Mines, Ion Bombs, Advanced SLAM

My reasoning Nym will most likely be the last one to activate so I should be able to see where everyone is so I can decide to use the advanced sensors to use the most needed action to accurately drop a bomblet. Cruise Missile on Miranda is mostly just to get used to seeing it in action.

I'm going to be trying it but without the Engine upgrade, and the Scum version.

It seems to have potential.

Hilarious part is the first person I played had scum Nym and almost exact same upgrades, adaptability over my VI. He made the choice of focus killing Miranda at the expense of ignoring rebel Nym who bomblet and TLT his Nym while behind his Bossk. While I never was able to damage with a bomblet again, since I was avoiding being in front of Bossk I was able to use Rebel Nym ability to help steer opponents into more predicable places, and not just in this game but in every game it worked to certain degres.

Sorry for delay in getting back to you, had to leave early for store championship game and other games at FLGS didn't get home till 1 am to no power from power company doing maintenance work on local sub-station. I ended up 3rd place out of 8 and the person who won it stated I probably would have won the match against him, making me go 3-0, if the time was 75 minutes instead of 60.

Store championship I wish I had ran this version of Nym instead of Dengar and Nym I went 2-2 with the 2 losses being against decimators and my own stupidity in not dropping a bomblet for some unfathomable reason.

*Edit My store championship is similar to yours, believe our Nym are almost same I had accuracy corrector and your scout is similar to Dengar other than I had painbot and expertise.

I finish 4th out of 24. But it was an uphill battle most of the way. Nym without an engine upgrade is really short-legged. I felt the pain of having to time my moves perfectly and guess my opponent's moves. My games almost always went to time.

The 3rd game was against 4 Aggressors with LWF and TLT, and the guy hugged the border like crazy. I had to pounce on him viciously and he complained about it like crazy. (He kept saying that mathematically, the game should have been his.)

There were 3 Nym in the top 4, my scum, and 2 Rebels, both the exact same build: VI, AB Turret, Acc. Corrector, EU, Havoc, BG.
