FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

On moon miranda.

Neither the grossest nor the slimiest thing to happen here that day, nor probably the only one involving sea creatures, just the only one to occur on the highway.

The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

What is particularly disturbing is that their slime is what makes them desired as food.

Also, they like to burrow into creatures and eat them from the inside. So there is that.

I was more shocked to find someone eats hagfish... They have to be one of the most disgusting creatures in existence.

Am I the only one that immediately thought of Monty Python's Hungarian Phrase Book sketch upon reading the thread title?

I remember learning that hagfish slime can be used as a substitute for egg whites... A fact that I have been trying to forget, ever since....

Many years ago, the aquarium near where I lived at the time had a 'petting zoo' area - with hagfish as one of the cuddly creatures for kids to handle... Whoever came up with that was somebody that actually knows children!

The Auld Grump - a truck of hagfish is probably not as bad as a truck full of 20,000 lbs. of burning cheese, at least....

The reason I bought rules and became a real wargamer was because I wanted a properly thought out structure to govern the action instead of just making things up as I went along.

You know, I saw the headline and immediately thought 'the only way that could be more entertaining would be if they were hagfish'.

Well, what do you know...
