So I'm still bouncing back and forth on which legion I want to play, and I'm looking and what I might be able to do with Emperors Children. What are the general thoughts on the 3rd Company Elite RoW? And how does this list look in terms of how fluffy it is and how reasonable it is in terms of power?

2000 dead on. The terminators will ride in the storm eagles, while the kakophoni hold backfield objectives and provide covering fire for the elites. Eidolon joins the Palatine Blades. Thoughts?

Hi there. A few things to think about:

If you can free up the points, apothecaries with augury scanners can be handy for the kakophoni - mitigating some gets hot wounds and giving you the chance to blast nearby deepstrikers with intercept for your heavy weapons.

To save points Eidolon and the palatine blades could ride in a storm eagle instead of having jump packs. But then you lose the cool factor of jump infantry. I'd normally suggest talking a jump pack command squad but then you'd lose the phoenix spears in order to gain all 2+ saves. You might find the palatine blades get shredded quickly as they are the priority target with Eidolon.

Your list is actually quite close to an Angel's Wrath list (I think that's the name), you'd just need to swap the kakophoni for assault squads. Angel's Wrath gives you Hit and Run, which is BEASTLY with Emperor's children and especially Eidolon - getting your charging bonuses again and again!

I think the list as it is might struggle with heavy armour such as a leviathan dreadnought. You could put a lightning fighter in there somewhere for some fast anti tank, keeping to the theme. Kraken missiles are great (though very expensive, YMMV).

I did actually try this with Angels Wrath, but I found myself struggling to fit it in as the assault squads were running slightly more expensive than the Kakophani were. Having said that, I've gone back and tried again, how does this look?
