Here is a set of Tzeentch Daemon characters that I painted for a client. I've painted quite a few daemons for this force over time- I find I really love the bright blues and pinks of Tzeentch.

Flames are very present throughout the Tzeentch force- but with so many magical flames, the colors for them can vary quite a lot- blue, pink and orange flames all get their day in the sun.

The hand gestures on these figures are great. I know the sculptor(s) were likely going for magic casting poses, but they read to me like the daemons are rocking out. Especially the disk guy with the book and dagger, he is full on metal!

Great effort! The lack of love for the staffs and no gems lets them down.

Yeah, that's a detail I'd have added at a higher level for sure.

As for the hand gestures- GW have always used the heavy metal salute for their magic gestures.

But back then, they also features space marines with guitars, and there was even a Sabbat single as a free White Dwarf promo.

So it isn't like GW's designers and sculptors don't know that it is a heavy metal salute- they're embracing it.
