I really like the background of undead creatures like zombiedragons.

Always wanted to make a cool looking army only made of undead creatures, but until now i had no real luck finding any good figures for them^^.

A year or two ago i bought the Zombicide Black Plague Boardgame and soon after that the expansion Wulfsburg. In the expansion were this little wolves and i thought about using them as zombies or so, but never tried it.

Then i made a break from Aos and played more 40k, Frostgrave, Shadow War etc.

Today cleaned my room a bit up and found my two Terrorgheist's under all the dust . So thought about my idea from one or two years ago and looked into the flesheater battletome and the idea is to use the Zombiewolves as ghuls and make an all creature looking army =).

So here is my list:

Royal Menagerie:

Ghoulking on Terrorgheist (Ruler of the Night, Cloak of Mist and Shadows)
Terrorgheist
Zombiedragon
Zombiedragon

Ghul Patrol:

Crypt Ghast Courtier
20 Ghouls
10 Ghouls
10 Ghouls

Points: 2000

Hope the list is okay and here are the models i want to use as Ghouls. The small wolves as ghuls and the big one as Crypt Ghast Courtier. (models in the picture are not mine, copied them from the internet)

Would you be okay to play against such an army? I know some people don't like it when others use non GW-Models and refuse to play against you.

Love it. Dire wolves feel like a more obvious counts as for these pups, but if they're particularly tiny than ghouls make a lot of sense - too small for dire wolves, may as well be a smaller voracious undead thing!

I think it's a creative and fun idea for an army! i'd have no problem with it, especially as you're being very clear on what counts as what. i think it will look very impressive as a force if you decide to go through with it.

plus little wolves are never a bad thing

realism is a lie

Thank you very much for the feedback =).

Yeah the wolves are kinda small, maybe a little bit bigger than an average ghoul.

So think they fit better as count as ghouls. Direwolves would be cool, but they are unfortunately no battleline unit =(.

No Zombies at all? Everybody loves Zombies. Buy a bag of Zombies from the Zombies!!! boardgame. 100 of the braindead dudes are included for only 10 EUR. It´s a bargain. In addition, you only need to get hold of 100 bases.

I mean if we're going with the undead horrors you might as well add more flying monstrosities... Dire Bats, Bat Swarms, Vargheists...

OOOH! have the ghouls ride on the wolves as proxy Crypt Ghasts! They could be like horror calvary...

Thanks for both replies^^.

Yeah it would also be cool to play a lot of undead creatures like bats etc. But you can't make a valid army as you lack the core troops=(.

Could also play Zombies, have a lot from the Zombicide - Game (btw they look really awesome^^). So could play more Zombies and kick the ghouls.

I wouldn't have a problem playing against that either.

Ghouls are generic battleline; if you are running ghoul patrol then you have that covered and can mix in whatever Death units you like.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.
