Hey everybody! Maybe you can help me find something.

The standard d6 is 16mm. Cases of 12mm d6s are very common.

Is there a way to buy large amounts of d12s in the same scale as the 12mm d6s? I am having trouble even finding them. But maybe I am just searching the wrong key words. I have found sets of dice (the standard dnd sizes) in a 5mm scale. But no batches of d12ss. Again, that would be preferable over the larger standard size but I would prefer not to go THAT small.

You could have a chat with Em4 miniatures (http://www.em4miniatures.com/). They[1] make small-size polydice -- they might be up for doing batches of just mini D12s. They're gamer-friendly so they sort of understand the unusual requests people come up with.

They're the "go to" people for dice & bases in the UK.

I don't know what shipping to the US would be like - you'll have to check.

Heh, yeah. Looks like I'm not the only one looking into a d12 system, and EM-4 was the exact company I was thinking of.

I'm going to try to see if they will send me a prototype to make sure of color and size. I am personally going to try to order 100 dice 45 white or ivory with black numbering. 45 black with white or ivory numbering and 10 in a 3rd color with a good contrasting numbering (depends on my color options).

I'm very intrigued by a combination of beyond the gates of antares and 8th ed 40k. But I need big fists full of dice to do full gaunt and gang unit shooting.

If they can meet my needs with legible but smaller dice il post a review and get you pointed in a direction to order your own.

I've never actually seen miniature D12s from most companies. I also think the smaller a D12 gets the more prone it is to fall over. Good luck in the search!

I have seen them in parts of sets. The standard dnd sets with 1-4d6 1d4 1d8 2d10 1d12 1d20. I have seen those sets in a 12mm scale and a 5mm scale. 5mm is bonkers small. But 10-12 would be great. I just cant find them individually. Or in bulk sets.

Yo lance, I have a whole set of mini RPG dice (3D6, D4, D8, D10, Percentile, D12, D20). So there's definitely mini D12s out in the world somewheres!

I'm not certain how one would get JUST the D12s, but that's a place to start looking. You can find them by searching for "mini dice set," or "mini poly dice."

Yeah i have been finding them in sets. But that is it. Ive been in touch with a couple manufacturers. Most have told me that 100 mini d12s is too few to be worth producing (what!?) Which seems mad because they have the molds anyway. Im currently waiting on a call back from one that sounded promissing.
