Subject: Best Loadout for Imperial Knights in 8th Edition?

Interested to hear how players are equipping their knights in 8th edition?
In 7th I had a Knight Errand for my Imperial Guard army, however the limited number of shots from the thermal cannon had put me off it so I'm looking for a new loadout. I'm torn between the Rapid-Fire Battle Cannon and the Avenger Gatling Cannon; one has a guaranteed number of shots and damage while the other is a bit more random but that extra strength is better against vehciles and MEQs?
One other option I was considering was a cheap close quarters Knight Gallant to get in the enemy's face, but aside from it's reduced cost is there any advantages of taking a Knight Gallant over a knight armed with main ranged weapon?
So how would you suggest loading out a Knight Titan in this new edition?

All shooting, all the time.
See, the knight always has one very powerful melee option no matter the loadout. The titanic feet brings the knight's attacks up to 12 attacks instead of 4, and it is enough to really damage things that would normally charge you. Plus, since you don't have to be locked in combat you can always just walk out and open fire the same turn, and the sheer amount of damage those guns can bring is enough to be worth the price.

What about which ranged weapon to use? As I said I'm torn between the two options?

well, the crusader can take both the avenger and the battlecannon, so yea why not both? if your looking for only one with a sword I personally like the paladin, as it can hurt anything from a land raider and lower toughness wise while still having enough shots to clear out hordes.

Bounding Dark Angels Assault Marine

I've been trying to decide the same thing on my IK. I have settled on a crusader for the above stated reasons but can't decide between the Thermal Cannon and Rapid Fire Battle Canon. I'm really leaning towards the battle canon but wasn't sure since I haven't played it yet. From the batreps i've watch I feel like the thermal is a little lack luster. Anyone have any experience/preference for 8th?

I ran the battle cannon/gattling cannon combo on a knight and it was amazing. It reliably took down a couple of 'nid monsterous creatures per turn.
