So I bought a previously owned forgeworld model recently and one of the arms is positioned quite awkwardly, I'd like to remove and reattach it but I'm not sure what the best method would be when dealing with resin. I've tried leaving it in the freezer to weaken the glue but it did not help much. Any tips?

What model is it? The way it connects and the size/shape of the part affect your options.
Cleaners/degreasers used in paint stripping may help loosen glue.

With resin, it may have been done with CA, so fingernail polish remover is the way to go. However, not sure if it will harm the resin, so use the 'no chemical smell' variety, as it is not as harsh.
Also, with it being resin, maybe a little hot water (I use my desk lamp for heat) and once warm, give a little bend to how you want it and dunk in cool water - instant re-positioning!

Post a picture. Depending on how awkward the joint is positioned would likely depend on what tool to use.

Do NOT use Acetone/Fingernail polish remover!!
It will melt plastic and resin. Try Simple Green overnight and if that fails, you can try to freeze the model to make the glue brittle and carefully break the joint.

I always, always, always do the freeze before anything else. It works wonderfully.

ok, I am going to ask.
is this a real forgeworld, or a recast?
I do a lot of commissions and am very familiar with FW and non-fw resins. Most of the china and russian recasts use very cheap and brittle resins (not all do, but most).
This cheaper resin may break long before the glue joint.
if you are not sure if it is FW or not just be careful.
